BY TRAIN

Travelling by train to Buriram is also an option, especially if you are coming from Thailand or nearby regions. Here’s how you can plan your train journey:

There are two primary train routes available for travelling to Buriram to watch the MotoGP: the Bangkok – Ubon Ratchathani and Nakhon Ratchasima – Ubon Ratchathani lines. Both routes conveniently stop at Buriram Station, making them an ideal choice for travellers heading to Buriram for the MotoGP event.

Route 1: Bangkok – Ubon Ratchathani

This is a long-distance route connecting Thailand's bustling capital, Bangkok, to the northeastern province of Ubon Ratchathani. Buriram lies along this route, making it a suitable stop for those coming from the capital. The journey offers a scenic view of Thailand's countryside, passing through various provinces, including Ayutthaya, Saraburi, and Nakhon Ratchasima, before reaching Buriram. Trains on this route vary in speed, with some express options providing faster service. Note that trains to Buriram depart from Bangkok's Bang Sue Grand Station.

Route 2: Nakhon Ratchasima – Ubon Ratchathani

This shorter route links Nakhon Ratchasima (also known as Korat) with Ubon Ratchathani, and Buriram lies approximately halfway. It’s an excellent option for those starting from Nakhon Ratchasima or nearby areas. The journey from Korat to Buriram is relatively shorter compared to the trip from Bangkok.
